Online - The Bible Project: For those who aren't yet ready to resume in-person Bible Study, join Skip Forsyth and others as they study scripture using resources from www.bibleproject.com.  Hop on at meet.google.com/kzz-ityh-rbp. (will be in-person beginning August 28, Room 210)

Parents of Children Lifestage Class: Led by Angela Madden and Ashley Spicola, Lifestage is dedicated to fellowshuip and camaraderie for those parents in the trenches with elementary age kids and younger. Participants touch on the same lesson their kids are learning and also have time to talk about life and parenting. Everyone is welcome! Room 206

Black Dog: Resuming September 11, this group led by Ruth Reynolds will study A Practical Guide by Brian Allain, Diana Bass, Brian McLaren. Acknowledgement and practical information on what to do about so many issues that polarize people in our society. Small Conference Room

The Unconfirmed: Led by Rev. Trinity Whitley and leaders of the Youth Confirmation Team, this 8-week class is for adults who would like a refresher course on Presbyterian and Reformed understandings of the Bible, theology, polity, worship and sacraments. Preschool Conference Room

Disciple 3: Begins August 28 at 9 a.m. Led by Roy Youngblood and George Reynolds Iv. This study includes the Old Testament Prophets and the letters of Paul. Books are $18 and can be purchased from Renee in the church office. Preregistration is required; sign up at the button link below. Parlor.

Centering Prayer:  Contemplation, meditation and prayer, led by Pam Leslie, Vicki Weber and Ruth Reynolds. Meets in the Small Conference Room, 9:00-9:25 a.m. Will resume September 11.

Confirmation Parents. On the third Sunday of the month parents of Confirmation students will gather to check in, cover the topics that their students will be learning that month, and work on their own faith statements. Library.

Gather Coffee Bar. A chance to fellowship, enjoy coffee and community before Sunday morning worship. Fellowship Hall/Patio

5 p.m. Catered Dinner & Fellowship in Fellowship Hall ($5/adults, $3/children, $18/family max), followed by programs for all ages.

Faith in Prayer. Meets Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. in the Parlor. Led by  Becky Roche. All are welcome to join this prayer ministry.

College-Age Coffee
College age adults are invited to meet Shannon at Calvin's Coffee House (548 W. Park Avenue) on September Tuesdays (begins September 7). Shannon will buy your coffee and will bring pastries. Meet outside at the tables any time between 8 and 10 a.m. Drop by or stay awhile and enjoy this time checking in with other Faith friends.

Book Talk
Discussions of a selected book each month by the Faith Library Committee and others. 10 am- 12 noon on the fourth Thursday of each month in the library. 

Prospective Member Class - Patio
This class is offered periodically throughout the year. While this class is required for membership at Faith, taking the class does not commit you to membership. Topics covered include: Presbyterian distinctives, Faith's mission statement, Presbyterian church government, interpretation of scripture, and principles of Christian stewardship.

Single Together Group
There is a fellowship and study group at Faith for adults who are single by choice or by life circumstances. The Single Together Group is open to both men and women who would like to explore what it means to be single in the Church today. There are open discussions on relevant topics such as historical and cultural overview of singleness and of singleness within the Church, dating, sexuality, single people and the Church, the challenge of singleness, and the challenge to the Church. The Single Together Group will meets periodically on Sunday evenings, 6-7 p.m., in the Parlor, and for outings once or twice a month.  For more information, please contact Ruth Bedell, .  All are welcome! 


 

Faith Marriage Retreat | September 16-18, 2022 | Destin, FL

Join other couples from Faith who have been married somewhere between 6 months and 60 years, for a weekend of renewal. We will fellowship, learn and grow in our communication and connection with our spouse, and focus on how our faith helps feed our relationship. Saturday afternoon, participants can choose from beach time, shopping, or playing 9-holes of golf as a way to relax! Participants are responsible for reserving their own room. We have a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Miramar Beach for $189/night. Additionally, there is a $50 registration fee per couple which includes dinner Friday night.
