Confirmation is an opportunity to explore one’s faith and make a commitment to live a life of faithfulness. Students who are eighth grade and older may participate in the confirmation class. Participants will be tasked with exploring their faith. When a child is baptized, their family of origin and church family make promises to God. Confirmation gives students the opportunity to reflect on these promises and decide if they want to affirm this faith as their own. This is a time to study, ask questions, and examine what it means to claim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
