An Open Table

Passage: Matthew 9:9-13

Jesus sits at tables with many different types of people, including tax collectors and sinners. The Pharisees judge Jesus harshly for associating with the wrong sort of people, yet Jesus constantly reaches across those boundaries that the Pharisees would dare not cross. Jesus challenges His disciples with these questions -- Who belongs at the table? Who should we share a meal with? Whose table is it anyway?
