Singing Songs of Easter

Throughout Lent we have heard from the sacred voices through African American spirituals singing their faith in the midst of terrible grief and deep valleys. Today is Easter and the tomb is empty. We have a new song that we must sing today. And this is the song that we must sing every day, because we have been forever changed by the resurrection. Today we will sing a new song, a song from the voices of Easter people.
